Details

There will be 3 sessions covering distinct material, each 45 minutes long. Sign up for individual sessions or multiple sessions.

What will be covered:

• Session 1: Introduction to climate change, historical events. Graphs and data will be shown

  • Interactive google earth lesson. Observing our expansion of society through going back in time.

• Session 2: Engineering and the Environment

  • Carbon Recapture, Renewable Energy, Air Quality Data - The impact of engineering and science on creating a more sustainable world

• Session 3 (For grades 7-10) : Making a change in your communities.

  • How to get involved with climate initiatives in your community, and beyond

  • Introduction to varying academic and passion-based competitions/ challenges
